Maya Lewis has crisscrossed the globe in search of lost treasure. Hundreds of years ago, pirates stole gold and hid it on islands near Lima. The greedy pirates were double-crossed by their captain and after a pirate battle, none survived. The gold is still out there, buried on an island in the Pacific Ocean.
