THE PERIODICALLY ABSENTMINDED PROFESSOR
Standards: NGSS.SCIENCE MS-PS1-1, MS-PS1-4
You enter your chemistry class to find the professor opening and slamming cabinet doors as he frantically searches for something. “Professor, can I help you?” you ask as he turns to face you wide eyed and frazzled. “I’ve lost it!” he exclaims. “Gone, it’s gone and I’ll never ever have the chance again!” “What’s gone?” you ask as more of your classmates enter the room. “The invitation! I’ve lost the invitation to today’s biochemical symposium! The first time I get an invitation from the Royal Society of Chemistry and I lose it!” It’s likely your professor has just misplaced the invitation, you have seen him search for 20 minutes for glasses literally on his head and at one point the refrigerator was ringing because he had placed his phone inside. Sometimes the cost for pure genius is a bit of absentmindedness. Can you help your professor locate the invitation before it is too late? You have 45 minutes before he has to leave in order to arrive for the opening address.
