EVERY DROP MATTERS
The Okafor family, descendants of the Zulu people, have been managing the Hans Merensky Nature Reserve for the past three generations. When grandmother passed away five years ago the management of the land was handed down to her three grandchildren, Ayo, Imani, and Nia.
The most prized members of the reserve are a crash of white rhinos.
Locked away safe are the emergency plans for refilling the water reserves in a level three drought.
Grandmother didn’t think the plans would need to be put in place for at least another 50 years. However, with water supplies running low, if we don’t get water soon, the grasses will disappear and the rhinos will lose their food supply.
Can we get to the plans in time?
